The client lacked a Demand and Supply Planning area, and managed operations with Excel using maximums, minimums, and reorder points for stores.
It was essential to implement a cloud solution to deliver the following benefits:

– A customized design and implementation for short- and mid-term demand planning, including advanced statistical forecasting and industry-specific adjustments.
– Standard supply planning was implemented for DC-to-store operations. APEX solution was developed for daily distribution planning, considering branch support and inventory redistribution based on coverage levels during shortages. Introduced the concept of target inventory and replenishment based on demand coverage days.
– Cubing solution for purchasing (full-container loads) was implemented.
– Integrations with Oracle Fusion ERP were carried out using a specialized high-volume data handling tool. Historical sales data and supply chain status from – Fusion and legacy systems were processed to generate immediate purchase and transfer plans.
– Transportation planning was implemented for DC-to-store operations to maximize efficiency in vehicle loading and reduce store delivery times.
– Annual support agreements were established for implemented solutions.
